LinkedIn

How we use LinkedIn

We (Six Serving Men) maintain a company profile on LinkedIn. We use this for occasional posts on our own profile in addition to contributions to various groups. Our posts will be based upon topics which we believe are relevant such as:

  • Alerts about new content on our digital channels (news, events, blog posts, videos on YouTube etc.)
  • Items which we believe are of interest to our followers

Individual employees maintain their own LinkedIn profiles which they use for a range of purposes and have personal responsibility for. We do not control views and comments expressed upon 3rd party websites.

Direct messages

We aim to reply individually to all of the direct messages we receive via LinkedIn within 48 hours. If your matter is more urgent please email us via help@6sm.co.uk or call us on Tel : 0115 837 2663 .

Availability

We will update and monitor our LinkedIn account regularly however LinkedIn may occasionally be unavailable through no fault of our own and we accept no responsibility for such a lack of service due to LinkedIn downtime.

Google+

How we use Google+ 

We use our Google+ profile to communicate with our customers and associates.

We use this to update information and post articles which we feel are of value. We will continue to post articles but do not monitor this on a daily basis - please please email us via help@6sm.co.uk or call us on Tel : 0115 837 2663 .

Twitter

How we use Twitter

Six Serving Men’s Twitter account is run with the aim of providing relevant and timely information which we hope you find useful. If you follow us, you can expect between 1-10 tweets per week covering:

  • Alerts about new content on our digital channels (news, events, publications, videos on YouTube etc.)
  • Invitations to provide feedback on specific issues
  • Information from our team about what they’re doing
  • Occasional live coverage of events
  • Items which we believe are of interest to our followers / stakeholders

Individual employees may have individual Twitter accounts (e.g @Stef_Elliott), which they have personal responsibility for and use to post personal as well as industry related tweets.

Following

If you follow us at @SixServingMen we will not automatically follow you back. We will identify other key Twitter users whom we think are relevant to our industry and whom our stakeholders will find interesting. However, us following you does not imply endorsement of any kind. We also refresh who we follow on a regular basis. 

@Replies and Direct Messages

We welcome feedback and ideas from all of our followers, and endeavour to join the conversation where possible. However, we are not able to reply individually to all of the messages we receive via Twitter.
